• Position and sell yourself during the interview – promote achievements and positive outcome, and express clearly what problems you solve 
• Follow up with the company and/or headhunter 
• Ask if there are any failings or objections 
• Manage your opportunity pipeline 
• Negotiate at the right time 
  • Too many candidates try to negotiate at the front end of the process before they have positioned their value 
• Manage closing the opportunity 
• The better you manage the process, the greater the chance you have of securing a fantastic opportunity
